What you get
Date of birth
Extracts the full date of birth encoded in the first six digits of the ID number.
Gender
Determines gender from the four-digit sequence number following the date of birth.
Citizenship status
Identifies whether the ID holder is a South African citizen or permanent resident.
Luhn validation
Runs the standard Luhn algorithm on the full 13-digit number and reports whether the check digit is correct.

No data stored
